FINAL CUT PRO X TUTORIALS: How to REUSE a Previous Edited Video as a TEMPLATE

This video shows how I reuse a previously made video for my makeup beauty youtube channel, instead of creating a new video every single time. This is not advisable if you are creating videos for clients, since you won't want to edit the original file, which will no longer be available. If you like what you created for a client, just copy all the files located in the project(the files you saw me editing.) and create a new project, and paste it there, then begin editing. This will cut down in the time it takes you to recreate a file, and to edit to your liking. I hope this helps.

How to create a Instagram Square Video in Final Cut Pro 10

I was searching for a simply remedy to this issue that didn't involve me learning how to use a new software at short notice. This beauty blogger shared her tips on how to easily create a square video in Final Cut Pro 10. I used photoshop to recreate the size of my video and created an transparent square to use as a guide in Final Cut Pro and saved as a png file. I compounded the clips once I selected all the film clips for my 15 second instagram video. I dragged and dropped the png file into my project folder and then dragged and dropped the image above the compounded clip. Select the compounded clip and use the transform setting in the inspector to move it around til it is centered under the transparent square and save. It's pretty simple. Easy & Inexpensive way to create video recordings of your computer screen!

So I was on a search to find an app/software to create videos of my computer screen like you see on youtube. I read review after review. Some where expensive and with others, there were too many complaints. I finally ran across this one by accident in the comments section of a post of the 5 best videos and the funny thing is it wasn't listed. It's called Screencast-O-Matic.

The audio output is great, the recording is crisp and the best part is the pricing structure. You can use the free option with a watermark that will be present on all your uploaded videos. If you don't want the watermark visible, you can choose from their 2 plans of $12/year or $29/year. I wish I would have purchased the 3 year because this thing works perfect!!! You simply expand it out to the appear you want to appear in the video via the white anchor points and click the red button to record or Option+P. After recording, the option to save to computer or upload to Youtube will appear. It's pretty simple. Enjoy!
