Easy & Inexpensive way to create video recordings of your computer screen!
So I was on a search to find an app/software to create videos of my computer screen like you see on youtube. I read review after review. Some where expensive and with others, there were too many complaints. I finally ran across this one by accident in the comments section of a post of the 5 best videos and the funny thing is it wasn't listed. It's called Screencast-O-Matic.
The audio output is great, the recording is crisp and the best part is the pricing structure. You can use the free option with a watermark that will be present on all your uploaded videos. If you don't want the watermark visible, you can choose from their 2 plans of $12/year or $29/year. I wish I would have purchased the 3 year because this thing works perfect!!! You simply expand it out to the appear you want to appear in the video via the white anchor points and click the red button to record or Option+P. After recording, the option to save to computer or upload to Youtube will appear. It's pretty simple. Enjoy!

Video: Add RSS Feed to Blogger, social media & email applications.
It's definitely been a challenge to find proper instructions on how to add a Google RSS Feed to my blogger account. The ones I found weren't very clear and the rest I had to figure out on my own. So I decided to make a step by step of how to add an RSS feed to your blogger account. Also, how to add your social media such as twitter, flickr, facebook and linkedin to receive your RSS feeds directly. This is a great way to receive more exposure to your blog post on your social media. The great thing about an RSS Feed is it allows your readers to follow your blog through their email Inbox. They no longer have to return to your blog everyday to catch up on what's new. Google Feed Burner also provides an html code to embed the feed directly on your website for viewers to read the topics and subscribe to your blog. It also provides an html code to embed in email applications such as Microsoft Outlook or Thunderbird, as a signature to outgoing mail. I think that is one of their best features yet. Enjoy.

Learn how to schedule your post with the new blogger interface.
I was a little iffy on changing over to the new blogger version only because I was more familiar with the older one. Well, come to find out I really love the new version. The newer version allows you to check your stats to see which post are getting viewed, how many times your pages are viewed, view new blog articles posted by the blogs you are following, view source of what is leading traffic to your post, adding labels/keywords to your post to help them get found and my favorite, scheduling my post so I don't have to be on blogger everyday.
I've provided a few screen shots to show how to schedule your blog post.
Click the pencil icon on the top left hand corner next to the blogger logo to create a new post. Below you will see the text "Scheduled" next to the first 2 post I created. This is how your post should appear after you've created your scheduled post.
To the right hand side of the screen you will see "Post Settings". Click on "Post Settings" if the area below are not visible; labels, schedule, location and options.
